Bosschaert); ; We are grateful to Fred Meijer for confirming the authenticity of this painting. The present painting is a characteristic work by this rare painter, who is stylistically close to the work of Abraham Bosschaert and Hans Bollongier, and sometimes even surpasses them in quality. Fred Meijer succeeded in compiling a series of about ten paintings that could be firmly identified as works by this artist.
